These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments, services, and use of the Birnie Ear Care website.

By booking an appointment or using this website, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. About Birnie Ear Care

Birnie Ear Care is a sole trader business operated by Sam Birnie, providing professional ear care services including ear wax removal using microsuction and, where appropriate, irrigation.

Services are offered via home visits in Farnborough, Weybridge, and surrounding areas.

2. Appointments & Bookings

Appointments can be booked online via this website.
All appointments are subject to availability.
Appointment times are approximate and may vary slightly depending on clinical needs.
By booking, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Assessment & Treatment

All appointments begin with an assessment to determine whether ear wax removal is safe and appropriate.
Microsuction is the preferred method; irrigation is used only when clinically suitable.
In some cases, treatment may not be possible or advisable on the day. If this occurs, the reason will be explained clearly.

4. Medical Information & Consent

You are responsible for disclosing relevant medical history, conditions, or symptoms before treatment.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect the safety or outcome of treatment.
By proceeding with treatment, you consent to the agreed procedure following assessment.

5. Fees & Payment

Current pricing:

Home visit: £75
No ear wax found/unable to perform removal: £20
Prices are clearly displayed and may be updated from time to time.
Payment is required as outlined during the booking process.
Payments are processed securely via third-party providers used by Wix.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Full refund given if cancelled with at least 48 hours notice of appointment time.
Birnie Ear Care reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative appointment or refund where appropriate.

7. Home Visits

For home visit appointments, you are responsible for providing a safe and suitable environment for treatment.
If access is not possible or conditions are unsafe, the appointment may be cancelled and charged accordingly.

8. Results & Limitations

While ear wax removal is often very effective, individual results can vary.
Birnie Ear Care cannot guarantee complete wax removal in every case, particularly if wax is impacted or medical factors are present.
Further appointments or referral to another healthcare provider may be advised where appropriate.

9. Liability

Birnie Ear Care takes all reasonable care to provide safe and professional treatment.
Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
Birnie Ear Care is not responsible for issues arising from failure to follow aftercare advice or from undisclosed medical conditions.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

The content on this website is for general information only and does not replace medical advice.
Birnie Ear Care makes reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and up to date but cannot guarantee it is always error-free.

11. Privacy & Data Protection
